Director of Enterprise Sales

Liveoak Technologies has an immediate opening for a senior level enterprise sales executive to join our Austin-based enterprise software team. We’re an early-stage financial technology software company that has won several key client engagements with global finserv customers, and are building out our sales, distribution, and customer success to support the demands of new clients and high interest from the market.

Responsibilities

As an early team member, ideally you will:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy in conjunction with marketing strategy focusing on a set of target customers
  • Roll your sleeves up and close the next wave of large customers and channel partners with limited direction and resources
  • Be a player coach in the early years while growing into a leadership role as the company expands
  • Run point on a weekly sales meeting where you review the funnel with the the team and strategize on how to close specific deals
  • Develop and drive the consistent and accurate use of sales automation utilities
  • Play a key role on the senior management team, significantly contributing to the overall corporate revenue strategy
  • Enhance sales team performance & productivity through mentoring and training
  • Identify, attract, develop and retain world class sales talent to the organization
  • Devise new and innovative ways to market products and services
  • Able to create, document, and deploy an efficient and repeatable process that increases revenue per lead and includes sales playbooks, training, and general sales enablement support
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine lead nurturing, outbound marketing, and other campaigns to support sales efforts
  • Comfortable selling in person to large enterprise B2B organizations/executive decision makers

Ideal Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in early stage (<10M in ARR) enterprise SaaS sales (FinTech preferably) with a proven track record of execution and success
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Deep understanding of value drivers in the early stages of recurring revenue business models
  • Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others
  • Superior presentation and public speaking skills
  • Travel as needed to national base of clients, 50% of the time
  • Stellar references that will attest to the above

This position will report to Liveoak’s CEO, Andy Ambrose.

Our office is located in downtown Austin,TX in the heartbeat of the city with a satellite office in NYC. We have a flexible work environment with a rule to ‘never be in traffic’ – so we are absolutely OK with you working from wherever you can be most productive.
